***************************************************************

Six-year-old Buddy loves his days at Ken-Mar Rescue.

Buddy is an owner turn in, he was given up because his family could no longer keep him (financial reasons). He is crate trained, loves his toys, enjoys walks, likes to "swim in the air" while on his back and is very affectionate.

Buddy is curious about everything and enjoys interacting with his humans.

Buddy would prefer to be an only child in an adults-only home. He thrives in a home where he can be a full time companion to his humans.

BREED: Lhasa Apso Mix, 6 yrs, 30 lbs

NAUGHTIEST DEED: Love to eat!

PET PEEVE: Because I have dry eyes (common in the Lhasa Apso breed), I have to have a warm compress twice a day followed by three artificial tears (the human kind) in each eye. I don't mind the warm compress and actually enjoy it. But boy do I get fussy when I see that bottle of artifical tears coming at my eye!

FAVORITE FOOD: Ribs

KNOWN ACCOMPLISHMENTS: I am normally quiet except when I see an unfamiliar facing coming up the walkway to the front door, then I let them know I'm the sheriff of the house. I also am a good co-pilot on car rides.

You too can help save a dog's life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Los Angeles Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
