Quincy's Story...
Quincy's Cat-Tale: Quincy was abandoned in an apartment on Montgomery Road. He was found after 5 days without food or water, when the landlord had people clean out the apartment. He was scared to death and very stressed. He was taken in by people who'd had a large volume of rescue cats in 2007. We assisted them in getting all of their cats fixed, vaccinated and adopted the kittens. They were unable to keep another cat and threatened to turn him loose, to eventually get killed on Montgomery Road.
Quincy is very interactive ...misses being with people. He loves to talk to you and loves playing with toys!! He's affectionate and would do well in a home with another kitty. He doesn't seem to mind other cats, is actually curious about them. He's had a rough start in life and deserves a home for the rest of his life.......whomever owned him is loosing out on a great cat!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quincy, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
