Kadie's Story...
Kall me Kadie… Sure, I’m a little on the shy side… But that’s OK… Right? I mean, I’ve been through a lot in my short life… I’ve had pups, been abandoned and homeless… It’s been rough! But my spirits are high, I’m spayed, happy and ready to go to a home… Please just understand that I may need a little time to warm up… I’m worth your patience though, I promise! I’m housebroken, cratetrained, good with bigger children and other dogs too… I’m a real score who just needs a loving patient hand… 1 ½ years old-26lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kadie, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
