Stella's Story...
Look at this sweet sweet face, no denying I am the sweetest girl in town. I love people , I am gentle and loyal and full of personality. Check out these ears, all the more to hear your wonderful voice telling me how much you adore me. I have a quite a beautiful voice myself, although I am proud to say I am very quiet for hound dog. And we can’t forget this sniffer, what a powerful one it is! I can sniff out a hound lover a mile away. I do well with other dogs, cats, am crate trained and very clean. Sometimes, my love of food overwhelms me and I just don’t want to share, but don’t worry we can work on that. I know my puppy dog eyes are melting your heart, so how about you just head on in and meet me- I’ll know your comin’- like I said I can smell myself a hound dog lover!6 years old-70lbs. My adoption fee is $100 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Portland Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
