for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Teddie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Teddie's Story...
Teddie is an owner surrender. His former owner worked long hours and could not give Teddie the attention a pet requires. He gets along well with cats and dogs, likes people and isn't shy around anyone. He came in and made himself at home. He is house trained and leash trained. We do know that Teddie DOES NOT get along well with small children. However, children 10 and older should be ok. Teddie will be available for adoption April 4th, however we are accepting applications now and will be reviewing them to find the best furever home for Teddie. He has been neutered, wormed, and is up to date on shots, will be groomed and heartworm tested and put on a monthly flea and heartworm preventative. If you would like to adopt Teddie you can call his foster mom at 304-640-8298.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddie, a Coal City Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Coal City, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Coal City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coal City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coal City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coal City paves the way for another one to be saved.
