Sid's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sid's Story...
Sid is a 60 pound, one year old (born 9/6/07), black Lab / Pointer mix. He is housetrained and very well behaved! Sid knows many tricks and commands such as come, sit, down, speak, shake, stay, and wait for a treat on his nose. He fetches balls in the air, sleeps on his back under the covers with his feet in the air, and really enjoys spending time with his human family. Adopt Sid, and you will get a great house-trained companion who will give you such comic relief! He is good with other dogs and respectful of cats. This good looking fellow has been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and tested negative for heartworm. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Sid in his foster home. His adoption fee is $185. (CH)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sid, a Owatonna Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
