Nemo's Story...
Here I Am!

Catch me if you can! I have a lot of energy and I really want to find a forever home with someone who’ll play and play and play with me. And after we’re done playing, some nice hugs and pets would be nice.

I’m about 8 months old, neutered, up-to-date on all my vaccinations and I’ve tested negative for FIV and FeLV. I do have a neurological disorder, but it won’t prevent me from living a long, healthy, happy life. I’m just kind of wobbly on my feet. I tend to fall over, but I bounce right back up. I’d do best in a household with no other pets…and carpeting would be nice…and maybe a covered litter box, too…and don’t forget the toys, lots of toys.

You found me, so will you come get me and bring me to my forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nemo, a Norwalk Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
