Brutus's Story...
Brutus is a one and a half year old Rottweiler. Handsome and sweet are the first words that come to mind when people meet him. Brutus is up to date on his vaccines, very intelligent and LOVES people. He is good with other dogs and would do well in a home with older children he can't accidentally knock over. Despite his pictures, Brutus is not an ENORMOUS Rottweiler. However because he is still growing, he may get just a bit larger before he completely matures. Brutus is looking for a home that will give him the time and training he has went without in life. He needs help understanding house breaking and walking on a leash. Poor Brutus has already spent too much time chained outside and needs someone that will invite him into their home to be the cherished family pet he deserves to be. His forever home must have a fenced yard.

Brutus Needs:

A fenced Yard

A home without cats

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brutus, a Jacksonville Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
