If you've ever wanted to save a dog's life, then you have to meet Sweetie! She was found tied to a tree in a park, starving, cold, very sad and alone. The neighbors said she'd been there for two weeks and no one had stopped to help her. Finally, someone called for help. Sweetie was rescued and taken to the vet. She recently had puppies, but is otherwise healthy. She is so loving and sweet. She loves everyone. It's so amazing to see a dog who has been mistreated and neglected but still loves people, still trusts people and still thinks people are the best. Sweetie is 2 years old and ready for a home of her own. Give Sweetie the second chance she deserves. Show her what it's like to be a beloved family member. Adoption fee: $60.

Adoption Process:
Send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week trial run with the pet as part of your family. This is a trial period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the trial time and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption.
