Hello- I'm TWILIGHT! I'm patiently waiting to find a home to call my very own fur-ever! I'm a fantastic young man, and did I mention handsome? I am a long-hair black male. I am neutered, up to date on shots and have tested negative for Feline Leukemia. I have been treated for the prevention of fleas, worms and ear mites and I am housetrained/litterbox trained. I am around 11 months old (as of 3/2009). I do fine with dogs and with all people (older children & adults). I am hoping to find a home with one or no other cats. I am an indoor only cat- and I must say I LOVE the indoor life! I love to be held, to sit on your lap, to snuggle, and I just love to be loved! My foster family says I am simply "fabulous"! (And I think so too!)

To tell you a little bit about my past, I once had a home to call my own. When my owners moved from our apartment, they threw me outdoors and left me behind. I was not neutered yet and I had never been outdoors. I was scared, freezing cold and starving. I didn't know where to go and how to find food. It was awful. I started meowing in the windows of other apartments, hoping I might find my owners- but I never found them-- and people just threw rocks at me and shot at me and kicked me. I had no where to turn for help. I continued to lose weight and grew extremely thin from starvation. I had nearly given up on life when I was rescued by the wonderful people at Advocates 4 Animals Feline Rescue & Rehabilitation. I am fur-ever thankful to them for saving my life!

I am one of the sweetest felines you'll ever meet. I can also be vocal at times- as I like to "talk" to you from time to time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twilight, a Xenia Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
