My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tater is a young man, just so full of himself and with a zest for life and living and making the most of each day. Quite an inspiration! He is all about Tater and will let you know about it – cute and quite energetic for such a small fellow! He thrives on attention and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body – he just wants to be a part of whatever is going on. He loves to play with the other dogs. Everybody is bigger than he is but he sure tries to keep up! He’s really quite the clown. Our cats love to hang out with him too. He is very gentle with them.
Poor Tater was found abandoned in a home. The residents had disappeared and left Tater all alone. He hollered and barked until someone finally broke in and found him. Amazingly, he was in pretty good physical shape and his spirit was certainly not broken. We want Tater to find a REAL home – one where he can never feel that pain of abandonment again.
Tater weighs 14 lbs. and is 7 months old. He has cute little dachshund legs and walks very well on leash. He’s quite spritely and will love to go explore his new neighborhood and make some new friends.
Tater has been neutered. He is up to date on his shots and we have started him on heartworm preventative. He has been microchipped.
