Kirby's Story...
Kirby is a Hound/Labrador Retriever Mix. He is Tri-Colored. Kirby is 11 Months Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 30 lbs.

Kirby is an energetic pup! He loves to run outside playing with his family and his doggie friends all day! He loves being outside whether he's going for a hike up in the woods or playing with tennis balls in the backyard. He loves being around his family, especially any rough-and-tumble kids that he can wrestle around in the backyard and play with. He loves going for rides and loves to see what new exciting adventure he's going on next! He sticks his head out the window of the car and just takes in the warm spring air. When he's inside he's on the search for his chewy rope or kong. He loves to lay on a dog bed in front of the t.v. and chew on his rope toy. He enjoys watching movies with the family, especially if it's a doggie movie, he'll bark along at just the right parts! When he see's you watching him he likes to plop down on the floor and wiggle towards you with his feet back while wagging his tail hoping you want to sit next to him and rub his belly! Kirby is a playful boy who just wants to find his own family to play with!

Kirby would do well in a home with a family who loves to be outdoors and active. He loves hanging out outside while your playing sports or just relaxing. He loves to get his energy out wrestling with kids in the backyard, and since Kirby does like to play alot and is active he probably wouldn't be the best choice for a family with very small children. He's still very much a puppy and has lots of energy and loves to play all the time. He does very well on the leash when he's wearing his harness, he stops alot to talk to people passing by because he just wants more attention! He would love a fenced in yard to run around in but does excellent on the Tie Out, or just taking a walk around town once a day. Kirby just wants a family to call his own and find his forever home!

Kirby is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.

At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
