Meeka's Story...
Hey I’m Meeka and I am really shy. I would really love a home that is really quiet. I’ve never had a family before and I think that’s why I’m so shy. Sometimes when people come and sit in my kitty condo I’ll come out of my little room and have a visit but I have to be really comfortable. I was born on the streets and then when I was a kitten someone brought me into AniMeals and all of a sudden I was surrounded by people that I don’t know and things I’ve never seen before, I’m really scared. I am slowly becoming more and more outgoing but I’m not quite there yet. I want a family…and someone that I can trust…I want to fall asleep with someone and a window to watch the birds! Please come and take me home with you, I will be grateful for the rest of my life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meeka, a Missoula Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Missoula, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Missoula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Missoula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Missoula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Missoula paves the way for another one to be saved.
