Attention!! Sarge here!! I am a very good looking 5 year old tricolor beagle boy. A very nice lady found me wandering around up north off of the beeline highway. She was kind enough to give me a lift down to the valley and I was at a shelter In Apache Junction. They contacted Arizona Beagle Rescue to come and get me, because that place just does not have enough room for too many dogs.

I am a very nice boy. I am on the bigger side, not overweight, but taller than most beagles. The volunteer that picked me up said I rode very well in her truck, and even though I had been at the shelter for a few weeks, I was pretty quiet. Most of the time! I am a verbal boy, but I think I was just very excited to get out of that shelter. So, please check back to see what my foster family has to say about me.

Here is what my foster mom has to say about me. "Sarge (who we call Petey since he responds to that name!) is a BIG, handsome beagle boy who still thinks he fits on your lap! He KNOWS he is supposed to sleep on your bed and have first pick of any couch or chair when it is tv time! He LOVES getting all your attention (though he does let other pets have a few hugs if you insist!) He is easy going and quiet and remarkably thin for a beagle! He loves car rides and people - ANY people! He might prefer to be the only dog as he sometimes "takes issue" with a dog who tries to get him to play. He will follow you anywhere!"
