Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Woody was picked up stray but there's absolutely no doubt he was someone's beloved house pet, pampered and privileged, but no one came looking for him. He's not a very active boy, so how did he end up walking down a road where no one knew him? Did he get out by mistake, then get picked up and abandoned by someone else? He was at the shelter a long, long time because to know him is to LOVE him, but shelters get full and Woody's time was up. HE IS ADORABLE -- so sweet and calm, such a purr machine! He is very heavy but is a large cat to begin with. He's not very active so he just needs to be with someone who will carefully monitor his food intake. He's not much of a canned food guy, so a premium dry kibble for weight management is what he needs -- and lots and lots of kisses, petting, brushing and baby talk! He loves the easy life, that fellow. He was wearing a big dog collar when we got him (see picture) but now he has a cute ladybug collar. He says it's embarrassing, but what's a guy to do.
