Here's what the humans have to say about me:
3/28/09: This is Brooke. She is one of 4 adorable puppies who were found by construction workers when they were only a few days old in the freezing cold. A few of the other littermates did not make it and they could not find the pup's mom. Thanks to Stephanie and Brandon, these pups were given a chance. All of them were bottle fed. Then, more angels stepped in. Nick an Sherry took over and helped raise these 4 adorable pups since late January. They are now available for adoption (but probably won't last long!). The following is a decription from Brooke's foster parents:
"Brooke "Big Mama". She is black with both brown and white mixed in. Brooke is very lively. She is the most apt to play with the bigger dogs. She is also cratetrained (although she prefers to lay just outside of the crate door). She still needs help with housetraining. She is proving the most difficult. She is just a big fluff that bounces around the house with endless energy. She invites play from our 80lb F the most. She follows her around and jumps up to bite at her legs and mouth until she plays with her. Our dogs have been very gentle with the pups."
All our dogs are in partner shelters in the south unless marked "In Maine" or "In New England".
