Willow's Story...
Willow was rescued with her brother Little Joe from near starvation when they were about 2-3 years old. Now that they have been at S.H.A.R.E. for awhile, both horses have grown into healthy, happy, young horses ready to go out and find a new home!

Willow is a simply beautiful, classic Egyptian Arabian but unfortunately we were not given her papers. She would make an excellent trail companion, Arabians are known for their endurance. She is halter broke and will pick up her feet for the farrier. She has not yet been started under saddle, so she is a clean slate for any training you might want to do!

Willow's adoption fee has not yet been assessed and she is approved for adoption in Illinois or a close neighboring state.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Dewey Arabian was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Arabian for sale in Dewey, or seeking a Arabian from a breeder in Dewey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dewey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dewey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Arabian breeders who help with Arabian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dewey paves the way for another one to be saved.
