Jim's Story...
I just arrived with my brother and sisters. We are cute as can be and ready for adoption. I am the largest of my litter and I am a character. I play hard and zonk when I am done. I am precious, very loving, smart and playful. We were well socialized as little puppies so we are very happy and outgoing. Would you like to come meet me?

I know how to use a dog door, will been neutered soon, micro chipped and current on all vaccinations. $250.00 to qualified home.

Home visits and references are required on all adoptions. If you would like more information about our rescue and our dogs, including more photos, visit our website at www.sunrisefoundationltd.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jim, a Lakewood German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lakewood, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lakewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lakewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lakewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lakewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
