My name is Orion!

Great Pyrenees Dog for adoption in Kyle, Texas - Orion

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Orion's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Orion's Story...
Orion is approx. 18 month-2 yr. old Great Pyr male, neutered, UTD on shots and is HW negative. Orion likes to whine/bark for attention, and never seems to get enough of it! We think he was probably left out on a chain and ignored, as he had remnants of a chain around his neck. He's OK in a crate, but prefers to be out having his belly and ears scratched for hours! Seems OK with cats and other dogs. Not aggressive, but will stand up for himself. Has made no attempt
to climb fencing or dig out.

Has beautiful, snow white coat with biscuit freckles on left side of face. Has puppy eyes and personality. Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to Great Pyrs. We do home checks and vet checks before placement. We start with adoption applications (no cost/obligation) and we make placements on a first submitted-first approved basis.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Orion, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
