My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Niles is my name, and having a good time is my game! I am a very cool 8 year old tricolor beagle boy. I was rescued from the shelter because they needed room for other dogs. I am quite the boy. I have mostly black and white in my coat. You cannot find too much brown color on me. So, I think that makes me pretty unique.

I thought it was time for an update for any of you still checking me out and for all new possible families! I’m so happy to have AZ Beagle Rescue taking such great care of me, so don’t think I’m complaining! I’m just not a complainer at all! I so wish to have a family to live with though that I can love forever! I’m still one of the most handsome beagles since I stand out with my mostly black and white coat. My foster mom thinks I’m the best dog ever. I’m lying quietly at her feet while she types this for me.

My foster family found out recently I love to swim! It’s SO hot here in Arizona...a little dip in the pool is fun for the whole family! I know they think I’m about 8 but my foster mom thinks I’m much younger.

I still get along great with other dogs and of course I love people of all ages! I will kiss you over and over if you let me! Now cats…who needs ‘em! I don’t like cats! I think living with only people and dogs is best for me.

I still ride so nicely in a car and look forward to fun trips with my new family. I could still use some help in walking on a leash. I am so smart, though, and listen really well, so if you have time to work with me, I’ll be happy to learn new tricks and to walk nicely. I do love to sniff everything that I come upon, but what dog doesn’t?

I am a very sweet boy, and I am very thankful to Arizona Beagle Rescue for taking me in to find me a great new home. I hope that it might just be with you!!
