Willow's Story...
Hi my name is Willow. Everyone tells me how beautiful and sweet I am...it's a shame that I can't actually hear them say the words (I can tell by the way the humans act towards me!) I am a beautiful, almost all white girl who loves to give kisses. I love to play with other dogs and am currently being housed in a great boarding facility where I get to go to daycare everyday! I just found out that the mom of my friend Olympia (now Ole) works there! I would do great in a home with another dog because it would help me to have a hearing partner.

I am very athletic and am going to start agility soon. I dream of showing everyone that just because I am deaf doesn't mean that I am not just as good (if not better) than the other dogs. Before I came to CBBR I was told I couldn't be adopted out and I sat in a cage all day. I thought that it might have been because I was a pit bull but it turned out it was because I was deaf.

I would love to be in a family of my own...could you open your doors and heart to me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a chicago American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
