Hi I'm Baloo! If I had a job I would be the Wal-Mart Greeter because I absolutely love welcoming every human (especially kids!), dogs, and basically anyone who will pet me or talk to me - I am ready to smile, wag and greet ya!

I am around 18 mos old and about 50 lbs. I've lived in a small town all my life and my dead beat owners (to tell you the truth, I really loved them a lot) moved off and left without me! It was a real bummer for me and I was super confused when my humans left - I didn't really know what to do with myself so I just started wandering around town and to the local businesses trying to make new friends and catch a meal. I am so lucky that my foster mom Lindsey fed me and took me in! She's sort of a hero for dogs around here.

Anyway, I walk great on a leash and would be an awesome hiking buddy. I love my people and I stay close, and I promise you won't ever have to ask "who's a good boy?" Because it's me!!! I am your good boy!

Please consider me for your next family member - I will be everyone's favorite because I won't talk politics at the dinner table, I will love EVERYONE'S cooking, I will make sure you know you look perfect in whatever you are wearing, and let you know every evening how happy I am to see you.

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
