Beefcakes's Story...
Beefcakes is a 5 year old male Boxer and he's absolutely beautiful! He's a true wigglebutt and love every human he meets. He walks well on a leash and would be a great obedience pooch as he is extremely motivated to please. He keeps his crate clean and dry and seems to be housebroken. However, he should be placed in a home with no other dogs or with an experienced pet owner who can establish "pack mentality" quickly. He should not be trusted with cats as he sees them as a thing to fetch and eat!! YUM! Mr. Beefy would do best in a home with a tall privacy fence or a home where his new caregiver is willing to always exercise him under supervision as he is capable of jumping an 8 foot chain link fence. This guy is a muscle man and can't wait to find a loving home with a loving caregiver who has the patience and time to train him to be the perfect pooch! Beefcakes's adoption fee is $175 and includes vaccinations, wormings, and his neuter. If you are interested in adopting Beefy, please fill out our online application at and a volunteer will contact you right away to set up an appointment for you to meet this boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beefcakes, a Fort Wayne Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Fort Wayne, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Fort Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
