Torres's Story...
Torres is all beagle! He is about a year old and LOVES to play and now that the weather is improving, he LOVES to be outside. He is also very loving and likes to sit on your lap if you let him. He is good with kids. His foster parents have potty trained him (he is house broken) and have trained him to ring a bell hanging on the door to let them know when he wants out. He is crated at night and when they are not home. He weighs about 27.3 pounds. If you would like to apply to adopt this pet please visit to review our adoption requirements and submit an application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Torres, a Powell Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Powell, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Powell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powell paves the way for another one to be saved.
