My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Daisy! Daisy is a little over a year old and as sweet as can be. Daisy loves to run and play fetch. She is very active and loves children. She will also crawl up on your lap for a hug and loves belly rubs. She loves to chew rawhide bones, walks on a loose leash, sits, down, stay, rolls over, gives paw and plays dead when you say "bang". Daisy also loves to play with other dogs.

Daisy is a little timid around male strangers but she warms up. Like any young lab, she needs plenty of exercise & would enjoy a fenced yard. She has been through basic obedience training & is very bright.

UPDATE ON DAISY: Daisy is a sweet young puppy whose family has been effected by the economy and can no longer care for her. She loves to be with people and other animals. Daisy is house and crate trained, loves to ride in the car, walks well on a leash and gets along w/cats. She is a bit timid at the moment because of all the recent disruptions in her life. Can you find space in your home for this sweet little lady? You will never regret it.

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM: Daisy is a very active, sweet dog who would offer a lot of affection to the right family. She has a lot of energy, and she benefits greatly from plenty of structured exercise (not just throwing the ball back and forth) so that she can be a calmer pup indoors. She's done great at the dog park, is friendly with children, walks perfectly on a leash and doesn't pull, and loves her new backpack during her walks (she feels like she has an important job and it tires her out!). Daisy would benefit from a home and owners that will give her rules/boundaries, as well as an active family that spends a lot of time outdoors walking, running, hiking, etc so she doesn't get bored and get into trouble. She knows her basic obedience commands and will respond to them. She's not a big fan of the crate when she first gets in, but then settles down. Daisy would do well in a home where where her mom or dad were self-employed and worked from home; she loves lounging under the desk while Foster Mom is typing at the computer. She'd be an excellent and loyal companion, and perfect running partner!
