My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


AARF only adopts in the Richmond, Virginia and surrounding area..I was rescued from Caroline County Animal Shelter and came to AARF nameless, thin, filthy and sick. My foster parents gave me the proper English name Princess Diana, but nicknamed me DeeDee. The vet thinks I am 3-4 years old.


I am really a sweet, slightly goofy girl. I love to play with dogs. I am very happy when I have a rawhide or a bone and I do not destroy or chew anything I'm not supposed to. If you can give me TLC, I will sure give you affection. Can you give me a good home that I don’t have to worry about being starved anymore?
