Melinda's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Melinda's Story...
Melinda was found at the state line of New Mexico and Texas on highway 54 with a broken leg. Her leg is now doing great and save for a limp, she has made a full recovery, she is heartworm negative, spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. Melinda is a Black Lab mix that has all the personality of a Lab. She is sweet and playful, friendly with anything that moves, thinks she is a lap dog and that every toy in this world was made specifically for her. If you've been looking for a perfect family dog, look no further, you've found her right here. The highway is no place for this little girl, but maybe your home is! If you are interested, please email pal@palrescue.org and put the dog's name in the subject line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melinda, a El Segundo Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
