Huck and Phinn are big, handsome orange tabbies with hearts of gold. These gentle giants are bonded brothers who will bring their loving nature, playfulness, and irresistible charm to the home lucky enough to adopt them.
Orange tabbies have a reputation for being sweet, gentle, intelligent, and playful - and Huck and Phinn more than live up to that reputation.
Phinn is very outgoing and the leader of the pair. Sure, he may look like a tough guy, but he's really quite a softie. He has a strong, rumbling purr that that will continue for as long as you pet or comb him - and boy, does he love to be combed! When he walks into a room to visit you, he will greet you with a cheerful meow to let you know he's available for petting. Phinn is slightly larger than his brother, and his fur is a darker orange than Huck's.
Huck is very a tender-hearted cat who loves lap-time and affection. Initially, he may be a little more shy than his brother, but not for long - as he cannot resist being petted or the comfort of a warm lap. He will rub his head against your chin to give you a kiss. If you are in search of a cat to gaze at you adoringly from your lap while you work at your desk, look no further - Huck's your guy.
These brothers are wonderful companions for each other and get along with each other very well. They can often be found napping together, and it is always adorable to see how affectionate and bonded they are when they do this. Because they are so bonded, they are only available for adoption as a pair. They also love people and are quite social and interactive.
They are very clever cats as well. Their foster mom is convinced that they have hidden opposable thumbs that allow them to open doors and cabinets that other cats have never managed to open. It's fun to figure out how to outsmart these bright boys.
Huck and Phinn have experience living with other cats and a dog. In their foster home, they do well with other easygoing cats. These boys are about six years old and have great litter box habits. They are up-to-date with their shots, neutered, and have tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
