Hansom's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Hansom's Story...
I'm Hansom! Despite my size, I am an eight-year-old shepherd mix, and I am a bashful guy at first. Once I get to know you, I personality shine! I am non-aggressive, and get along well with older children and other dogs.

I love taking long walks, and behave very well on a lead. I have been living outside here at Gail's Pets, but I know they are confident I would easily make the transition indoors.

I have been neutered, is current on all vaccinations, and up-to-date on heartworm preventative.

If you're looking for a "big, teddy-bear of a dog" then I am the boy for you! Contact Gail Ross at (870) 431-8229 for information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hansom, a Oakland Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
