Skailer is a 7 month old Jack Russell mixed with Boxer. She is 28lbs and shouldn't grow much bigger. What a total love this girl is and she is so grateful to have been pulled from a shelter. Skailer adores everyone, loves leash walks, rides in the car and is great with kids and other dogs. This girl just wants to be a true companion and BFF. She is also crate trained and does great in the house. This one is a prize!!!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury on Friday November 2nd from 2-6pm. Saturday, November 3rd CPR will be at ACE Hardware in Oxford participating in the 2nd annual Haynes Touch-a-Truck Event from 10am-2pm. Lastly on Sunday November 4th, CPR will be hosting an Open House at our adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
If you are an MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
