Snickers & Slinky's Story...
Snickers and Slinky are 4 and 3 respectively. Snickers is a champagne male who has had bilateral adrenal and insulinoma surgery, but his symptoms are reoccuring. He is being maintained with Lupron injection and Melatonin implants. We are looking for someone to either sponsor or foster Snickers. Slinky is the other half of this bonded pair. She is a three year old silver bib mitt female. She can also be fostered or sponsored. Of course, if you are willing, both can be adopted as well. They are truly a sweet couple and are both wonderful seniors. Both are neutered and up to date on shots and both are ADV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers & Slinky, a Columbia Ferret was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ferret for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Ferret from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ferret breeders who help with Ferret rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
