Hey peeps! I have a few things in common with my name sake on Shameless. I spent some time in doggy jail shelter. I was the longest residing pup until CPR saved me. I liked the ladies before I was fixed and I am pretty smart. For an older pup 5-7 years old, I feel like a youngster. My cataract gives my age away. Other than that, my namesake is far less charming and handsome than me.
I am a laid back dude most of the time. I do require a few sessions of fetch and a big walk or run each day. The one thing I am shameless about is my toys. I love my toys so much. In fact, I will pile them up for you to ensure you know they are ALL available at any time for tug of war or fetch. I love nothing more than for my human friends to play with me and my toys.
I love car rides, dogs, and people. Cats look like toys to me so probably best if there aren't any in my forever home. My foster family adores me and says I would make a great addition to any family. Kids are great too and best if 10 and older.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at PetValu in Southbury on Friday, November 30th from 2pm - 6pm. On Saturday December 1st from 10am - 2pm and on Sunday December 3rd from 10am - 1pm CPR will be at Petco on Queen St in Southington participating in the National Adoption Weekend. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
