My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ellie May, a 4 year old Bluetick Coonhound that came into rescue after her owners surrendered her and one of her pups. Ellie May is a laid back gal who LOVES lounging around with her favorite people. She's a hound dog through and through, and makes sure she keeps her people safe by sniff testing every square inch of her surroundings (like a good protector should, of course!). Ellie May is incredibly friendly and sweet, and is crate trained and working on her house manners in a great foster home. Ellie May would make an awesome family companion for people looking for a slow paced, low maintenance pup. And while Ellie May will never turn down walks or hikes, she's not super high energy or in need of excessive daily exercise. Ellie May is just looking for a warm, safe, loving home she can make her own. Learn more about adopting Ellie May below.

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
