SAMMI's Story...
There are so many wonderful people working in rural pounds that help identify wonderful dogs that just need that second chance. their time is up, so they call rescues for help...we cramble to find a good foster, with total faith that their asseesment is correct and that a Perfect home can be found. Such was the case with Sammi.....

Sammi is a great dog. He is about a year old and has the most beautiful
coat of many shades of brown w/ white. He is fully grown and weighs about
38 pounds. His disposition couldn't be better. Sammi loves people, all
people, big and little. He gets along great with other dogs and would
probably get along with cats with the proper training. He loves long walks
and long snuggles. Sammi would be a great family dog, as long as that
family has a fenced in yard and walks him every day. He is young and has a
lot of energy. As long as that energy is used up on walks and play, he
settles down nicely in the house. What he likes best is to be with people.
He would make a great kids dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SAMMI, a McArthur Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in McArthur, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in McArthur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McArthur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McArthur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McArthur paves the way for another one to be saved.
