My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava was recently rescued from a puppy mill. Ava is a beautiful sweet girl. We think she was born in 2002 and she is about 11 lbs.

Ava is a very shy girl that is unsure of herself. Her foster mom is a dog trainer and has been working with her and thinks she is now ready to find a forever home. She now just needs lots of love and patience.
We think Ava did not know what grass was until she came to YSDR.

Ava gets along well with other dogs, but may take a little time to learn to trust her new human until she realizes that she will be OK.

Ava is up to date with shots, spayed, microchipped and has had her dental.

Please note that we have no shelter where our rescues can be viewed. All of our dogs are in individual homes being fostered until they find their forever home. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application. Please write and ask for one to be sent to you. After receiving your application, we will then contact you if we have a pet that meets your requirements.

If you live out of state, please note that we only adopt locally.
