Kona's Story...
Kona is like a teenage boy who will blossom guidance, exercise and love. H’s a smart boy who leaned to heel in about 15 minutes! He is still puppyish, and you’ll be rewarded with a nicely sculptured dog by carving him your way! He deserves someone who knows to cherish him for who he is, and he promises that he’ll be a great family dog whom your kids will miss when they go to college! Well, then, he’ll warm up the empty nest with his affection. This boy is a find who has Lab’s sweetness and Boxer’s sense of humor.

If you are interested in meeting Kona, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321.

[Kona was born on 7/7/08 and about 55 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kona, a Marina del Rey Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
