Astro is 18 months and full of fun loving energy. He loves to play, is great with other dogs and adore kids and adults. He will make a fabulous family pet and his athletic ability will make him fun to throw the ball with or hike. He is such a darling boy! Astro is super smart & is willing to please. He sits for treats & will do very well in obedience class. Homes with kitties, need not apply; Astro takes a little bit too much interest in them!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury on Friday, December 14th from 2pm - 6pm. CPR will be at Petsmart in Plainville on Saturday December 15th from 10am - 2pm. On Sunday December 16th CPR will be hosting an Open House at our facility located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury from 10am - 1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
