My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a big, sweet fellow! He loves toys, hugs, and cuddling. He's a simple guy who loves the simple things in life! For a big dog, he's extremely gentle. We're convinced he used to be a lap dog in another life. He's quite the charmer and knows exactly what to do to make you smile! When invited, he'll gently sit down next to you and give you a big ol' hug! He's housetrained, very quiet, and doesn't scratch at the door. He loves other dogs AND people and especially loves playing ball. His ideal family would be very active and able to take Jake on long walks and hikes. He's definitely a smart one and we're certain he would be the star pupil if taken to some doggie classes to learn new tricks.

Jake weighed 101 pounds when we rescued him.
