Annette's Story...
Annette is a Beagle/Feist Mix. She is Tan/Black. Annette is 7 Months Old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 18 lbs.

Annette is such a sweet little girl. She is non-stop wagging her tail whenever she see's you coming near. She's also very cuddly which is always great. She has such a happy look about her, and is almost smiling when you are near. She loves being around people and loves giving kisses. She likes to lean down with her nose on your lap and then she looks up at you and leans up and gives you a kiss. She's loving all of the other dogs here playing with her, she likes especially a little stuffed duck that she's been carrying around. Annette loves the comfort of dog beds, she's sleeping in a overstuffed light pink bed now. She loves to put her head on the edge of the bed and look at you while your sitting on the bed. Annette loves to cuddle so whenever you invite her up on the bed or couch, she's super happy because she burrows next to you and loves it when you cover her with a fleece blanket for extra warmth. She does great on the leash, but would do well with a harness because of her size. She doesn't pull but she walks slower just to check things out, she could use some encouragement on the leash. She does excellent in the car, she'll sit next to you in the front seat or if you have another dog in the car, she'll sit in the back with them.

Annette would blossom in any household. One with children would be great for her because she'll have someone to cuddle and play with. She loves being outdoors because of all the sounds and smells so she would do great with an energetic family. But she also is a very good cuddler so she would make a great companion dog for anyone who's lonely and wants company. She loves to give kisses, and would enjoy snugging up on your lap for the day. She does great with other dogs so another dog in the house would be great for her. She also does well with children, she loves them because they like to carry her around the house and give her belly rubs. She would make an excellent family dog, if you are looking for someone to love she's your girl. She has alot of love to give, even though she's only 18 pounds, she just wants a family all of her own.

Annette is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.

At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annette, a Latrobe Beagle/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Feist for sale in Latrobe, or seeking a Beagle/Feist dog from a breeder in Latrobe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Latrobe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Latrobe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Feist breeders who help with Beagle/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Latrobe paves the way for another one to be saved.
