LAYLA's Story...
My name is Layla and I was picked up at a gas station looking for crumbs. Being hungry is a horrible feeling. My guardian angel picked me up and took me to her house. It feels so good to be warm and cozy and have a full belly. Unfortunately my angel can not give me a permanent home so I must continue my search for a forever caregiver. I discovered the game of tossing my food bowl around by watching the cat do it at my foster home. I like to see just how high and far I can toss it. I usually win since I am the only one playing. Maybe in my new home, I will have some competition. The patio is a great place to just chill when the weather is nice. There is a bird feeder close by for me to view. Those birds really make a lot of noise. I enjoy fetching anything that is nearby including your garden shoes. One thing that is unique about me is my short and crooked tail. I was born with it that way. I think of it as my good luck charm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LAYLA, a Mobile Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Mobile, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mobile.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mobile already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mobile breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mobile paves the way for another one to be saved.
