Princess's Story...
Princess is a female, Border Collie/?Heeler mix, 4 months old. She is good with kids and dogs. Princess is very friendly and loves attention. She is a playful pup with lots of energy. Princess needs a caring, responsible guardian who is ready for an intellegent dog with lots of energy. If you don't give her something to do, she will make her own fun by digging and climbing fences. Princess is a mixture of herding breeds, so she will like to herd or chase moving "anythings." She is eager to please and will make a great companion for someone willing to spend time with her walking, playing creatively (frisbee, fetch, hide and search, etc.), and just hanging around together. Are you ready to be her best friend? Use ID# 4-24-8. If you are interested in any of our homeless pets, please CALL IMMEDIATELY. Due to lack of staff and time to check email, we ask that you call the shelter at 574-896-5060 to insure that contact is made. Our hours are: Mon.-Sat., 10am-4pm central. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a North Judson Border Collie/Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Blue Heeler for sale in North Judson, or seeking a Border Collie/Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in North Judson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Judson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Judson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Border Collie/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Judson paves the way for another one to be saved.
