Buster's Story...
Buster is a young little dog, which came to us from a kill shelter where he was in danger of being euthanized due to lack of space.

Buster is a true companion dog. He is very intelligent and bright, which makes him stubborn at times but highly trainable. He is a sensitive, loving and pleasant boy that is very loyal, inquisitive and quick to pick things up. A very pleasant little dog, he is sure to bring smiles to the faces of nearly all that meet him due to his energetic and forever youthful antics.

He is an affectionate and friendly dog who is alert and athletic. It is sometimes hard not to think of Buster as a little person but he is clearly a dog. He does however need to wear a coat in the winter months, as he cannot tolerate the colder weather.

Buster would be fine for apartment living as long as he was taken for daily walks and for a romp now and then at the doggie park or in a large fenced backyard.

He has a short coat that is easy to maintain and is a light shedder.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Hamilton Fox Terrier (Toy) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Toy) for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Toy) dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Toy) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Toy) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
