Maxwell's Story...
Maxwell, AKA Max, is a 9 month old Husky/Shepherd/Lab mix. He was an owner surrender due to his mom having to go out of town to care for her sick grandparents.

Max is a great boy. He is crate trained, house broken, and knows how to sit and laydown. Max needs some leash work and some basic manners. Max is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is really sweet boy and loves to be loved.

Max is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and Heartworm Negative.

If you are interested in Max please contact our rescue. Please note, we do not have a building, so there are no "viewing hours". Please email for an application, as our volunteers may not be able to return your call promptly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxwell, a Oak Lawn Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
