My name is CARLENE!

Toy Poodle Dog for adoption in Melbourne, Florida - CARLENE

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

CARLENE's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

CARLENE's Story...
CARLENE is a little 8 yr old toy who weighs about 8 lbs. She spent her life before rescue in a breeding puppy mill without human socialization. As a result, she is very very shy around people. She relates well to other dogs, but will need to find a quiet home with someone who can be patient with her and show her lots of love. She would not do well in an active home with kids.

CARLENE is in excellent health, recently spayed, and housebroken.

CARLENE is currently being fostered in PINELLAS county. To learn more about adopting her, go to www.coastalpoodlerescue.org/poodles/poodledetail.cfm?dogID=1104

APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY FROM FULL/PART-TIME RESIDENTS OF FLORIDA AS A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED; NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN FLORIDA, PLEASE LOOK FOR RESCUE GROUPS IN YOUR HOME STATE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.

Can't adopt right now? Consider becoming a foster home for a rescue dog; it's temporary, but very fulfilling and your only cost is their food! Fill out a volunteer application from our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CARLENE, a Melbourne Toy Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Toy Poodle for sale in Melbourne, or seeking a Toy Poodle dog from a breeder in Melbourne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Melbourne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Melbourne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Toy Poodle breeders who help with Toy Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Melbourne paves the way for another one to be saved.
