Reba's Story...
This is Reba. She is being fostered in a home with a Cattle Dog Rescue group. Here is a description that they sent for her:

Reba is a beautiful 2-3 year old Red Australian Cattle Dog. She is very sweet and affectionate. Reba is only 35lbs, dog friendly, and will be a great companion dog. However she would do best in a home without cats. Reba loves to hang out, go on walks, hikes, and loves to play in the water. Reba is house and dog door trained. She is also crate trained. Reba is a great dog. Call 510-657-2648 or to arrange to meet Reba

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reba, a Tracy Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Tracy, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
