Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maya was rescued by Kiko from a neglectful and possibly abusive situation. Kept outside in a pen located far from her owner's home, her first two years were anything but ideal. Although she is not skinny and is in good health, it is obvious that this beautiful girl was only fed when someone thought about it, and likely not often during the snowy winter months when the trek to the pen would have been too much trouble. Despite this, Maya harbours no resentment to humans—she is gentle, submissive and eager to please and learn. Maya is good with other dogs and children and will make an awesome pet for a family that is ready to welcome her into their home and treat her the way she so deserves.
