Pepsi's Story...
Male 8 Month old
Red Tabby Maine Coon

This is a stunning boy!!! Pepsi was taken to the shelter with his siblings and possibly litter mates, Pudding and Pixie. It is hard to tell if they are from two different litters or are actually litter mates with Pixie being the runt. They came in together and are almost identical in their coloring and markings. Pepsi does have eyes that are more copper colored than the girls. His coloring is quite striking, such a rich red. He is also the most laid back of the three. He enjoys the company of other cats but seems to be more interested in attention form his person. Pepsi is a big boy for his age and we think we he will be quite large when he is fully grown. Right now he is a cuddly kitten that enjoys to be picked up and held like a baby. This guys has a great big purr motor too and there is nothing more comforting than a purring kitten. Pepsi could be happily adopted with one or both of the girls or go to a home with another playful cat. Fostered in the greater Sacramento area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepsi, a Davis Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Davis, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
