Bernice's Story...
Meet Bernice! Are you looking for a sweet, laid-back girl to keep you company? Then we have the dog for you! Bernice is an adult shepherd mix with maybe a rottweiler thrown in for good measure. We may not be sure about her breed, but we do know that this is one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever had at the shelter. And all she wants is a forever home!

Bernice loves to go for walks and is happily learning proper leash manners. But she is always checking over her shoulder to make sure that her person is still there to guide her. You see, this girl just craves affection from everyone that she meets – adults and children alike. She’s even ok with most other dogs. Now she just needs someone to give her the love that she deserves. In return, she promises to be a great companion for years to come!

If you would like more information on Bernice, contact her adoption consultant, Amber at 440-915-8973 or onlymutts4me@sbcglobal.net. Or come visit her at the shelter. She can’t wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernice, a Berea Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler for sale in Berea, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
