Starsky's Story...
Starsky is a very friendly, adorable German Shepherd mix puppy who we believe is about three months old. He came to Garrett with his brother, Hutch, and they love to play until they drop, break for a nap, then play some more. Starsky is a very happy, well-adjusted little guy who loves people and would make a wonderful addition to any family. Officially, our animals are only given three weeks to find homes before they are to be euthanized, so if you are interested in giving this one or any other a loving, forever home, please don't hesitate call us at 573-642-7443 or it may be too late!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Starsky, a Fulton German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fulton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Fulton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fulton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fulton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fulton paves the way for another one to be saved.
