Nike's Story...
Nike is a bit of a misnomer for this big, beautiful boy! If you're up on your mythology, you'll know Nike was known as the Winged Goddess of Victory. The gods have definitely been kind to Nike as his life was spared from the pound's death row. Nike will do well with a home that is familiar with training and handling larger dogs. He's extremely smart and affectionate and will do well learning basic obedience. He has a lot of energy and will make a great running partner and loves to wrestle at the dog park.

If you are interested in meeting Nike, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321.

[Nike is 2-4 years old and 76 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nike, a Marina del Rey Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
